We just had our first outing of ‘The Russian Winter’ putting on a 3 night run at Colston Hall for which I Directed and Edited the visual sequences that accompany the music of a live band, 40 piece orchestra and choir. The show is the result of 3 years hard work and volunteered time from over 60 individuals from varying backgrounds. I took on the Direction and Editing of the projects visual elements during my third year of university during which we produced 1 of 11 total tracks that make up the accompanying concept album – the music was originally written by Bristol based musician John E Vistic and then orchestrated by Adam Coombs. More information can be found at www.therussianwinter.co.uk. I’ll post up the reviews soon too.
